Footage of MK9 on the PSVita captured from Pax 2012. Showcased is a feature exclusive to the Vita – augmented reality backgrounds. They’re generated with MK2 sprites in the foreground and whatever the Vita camera films for the background. This feature will be available in Practice, wifi and adhoc multiplayer modes.

A live action teaser featuring Kitana has been released to promote Mortal Kombat on the PSVita. Check back here for the full trailer coming later this month.

In a report by GameInfomer it was officially confirmed that Mortal Kombat for the PSVita will release on May 1 in North America and on May 4 in Europe. The wait is almost over guys! Stay tuned to Mortal Kombat Vitality for full coverage of the game.
